What is social bookmarking?

Social Bookmarking allows you to store and share bookmarks on the web. Mobiseer allows you to discover, organise and share your favourite mobile websites on the web and on the mobile web.

Then you can access these bookmarks from anywhere, and at anytime ... All your bookmarks on Mobiseer are portable! You can also share your bookmarks with all your friends and family and with the Mobiseer community!

What are bookmarks?

Bookmarks let you save any interesting web pages, articles, tools or resources right here . And because they are stored on this web site, you can access them from any computer with an internet connection or any mobile phone. Furthermore, you can share your saved bookmarks with other users and benefit from those saved by others.

How do I bookmark a site?

Have you found a site that interests you and you want to bookmark and save it to your portable Mobiseer account?

Then select "Bookmark", give the site a name, description and rate it. Don't forget to tag the site so that other Mobiseer users can discover the mobile site too.

What are tags?

Tags are one-word descriptions, like keywords, that you can assign to bookmarks. You can add as many tags to a bookmark as you like; the more the merrier! These tags can easily be deleted or updated at any time.

Tagging a bookmark is easy to do and helps other people find mobile sites they're looking for!

What is Mobiseer Groups all about?

The Mobiseer group feature allows people with the same mobile website interests to come together and share bookmarks of interest.

You can either create a new group or join an existing group on Mobiseer. Check out the "My Groups" page to start sharing and discovering more interesting bookmarks!

How do I use "My Mobile"?

Decide what bookmarks you want to see when you're out and about on your mobile phone. From the "My Mobile" page you can easily drag and drop bookmarks and folders into your mobile space. Then arrange them in your order of preference.

What are RSS Feeds?

RSS feeds allow you to see when mobile websites have added new content. You can get the latest sites and bookmarks in one place, as soon as its changed, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

Feeds are also known as RSS. There is some discussion as to what RSS stands for, but most people plump for 'Really Simple Syndication'. In essence, the feeds themselves are just web pages, designed to be read by computers rather than people.
